Connecting with Our Community, One Conversation at a Time
The La Mesa Woman’s Club was delighted to participate in the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce’s 12th Annual Summer Bash Business Expo, held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the Courtyard by Marriott San Diego El Cajon.
The Summer Bash is one of the La Mesa Chamber’s signature networking events, bringing together local businesses, organizations, community members, food vendors, and supporters for an evening of connection, conversation, and community spirit.
And what a lively evening it was!
Taking the Field for Community Connections
The La Mesa Chamber gave this year’s event a playful sports theme, and according to the Chamber, no one was “on the bench” that evening. Guests visited vendor tables, met local business and community leaders, sampled food, entered door-prize drawings, and enjoyed a room filled with energy and laughter.
The La Mesa Woman’s Club was proud to be among the many participating organizations, joining fellow Chamber members and local businesses in sharing information about the work we do and the difference we strive to make in the community.
The evening provided a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and reconnect with familiar faces while sharing the La Mesa Woman’s Club’s story.
Community Is at the Heart of What We Do
For the La Mesa Woman’s Club, participation in events such as the Summer Bash reflects an important part of our mission: connection.
Community engagement gives us the opportunity to build new relationships, strengthen existing partnerships, and discover new ways to work together. Whether we are volunteering, supporting a local nonprofit, awarding scholarships, participating in a community celebration, or attending a Chamber event, we believe that meaningful change happens when people come together.
That spirit was on full display at the Summer Bash.
